FM Certification Program

University of Toronto’s Facility Management Certificate Program

The University of Toronto’s School of Continuing Studies offers a new certificate program geared to facility managers who are new to the profession and require foundation-level training, as well as mid-career managers who wish to advance their FM knowledge and skills. The program incorporates the latest trends, tools and techniques related to key areas of facility management.

Marcia O’Connor has been involved with the Facility Management Program at the University of Toronto for the past 11 years and continues to provide subject matter expertise in the newly improved FM Program. The program is divided into three courses: The Foundations of Facility Management; Leadership of Facility Management in Organizations; and The Tools, Techniques and Technology of Facility Management. Each program is comprised of 10 modules, each module running 3 hours in length once a week in the evenings.
